This week our founder, Jason Sloan, had the great pleasure of having a one-on-one conversation with a modern day literary great. Junot Diaz won the esteemed Pulitzer Prize in fiction for his novel "The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao" in 2008.

In the conversation between Mr. Diaz and Mr. Sloan, the two discussed creative development and the committment to a quality outcome in all endeavors. Junot Diaz explained how it takes years to finish a novel. Mr. Diaz expanded upon his creative process as Mr. Sloan took note. There was a great exchange of ideas and Campana Interactive is greatful to Junot Diaz for taking time out of his busy schedule to talk with us.

Mr. Diaz had to run to a speaking engagement at Duke University, but we highly encourage anyone interested to read his short stories and other intriguing novel "Drown."
